Howdy Howdy Howdy…    I hope that everyone is doing well on this fine SPRING Morning…  The Birds are chirping outside my window, the flowers are blooming & it’s actually not raining – How fantastic!!!  I really Love Spring (Although Summer is my Favorite)… 

For all of you out there with a long Memorial Day weekend (or May TWO/FOUR for all of our Canadian friends) We hope that you have a safe & fun holiday…  Please feel free to post any of your fun plans – I’d love some more interaction here on this blog…   

 For me Memorial weekend is a time to reflect on loved ones lost & unfortunately for me/us the list is extensive…  But it starts with my Beautiful Mom Judy Lowe & my Sweet Sister  Andrea Butler who both passed away last year.  I love & miss them Both so much that it just makes my heart sick…  I do find peace in my knowledge that I will see them again, but life without them is just not the same…  I miss their voices, laughter, hugs, smiles, quirky looks & a million other tiny little things…  Others on my list would include our son Elijah (2nd trimester loss), My Grandmas Vera Lowe & Kathy Wing, My Grandpas (who passed before I was born), Davids Step Father Jay Hardman, Our Nephew Cody Teams, my Uncles George, Larry, Rod & Eddie, many cousins & many friends too & we can’t forget all of my pets throughout the years – especially my cat Tasha & my SUPER UGLY dog Willey…      For all of you who are missing loved ones too – may you all find peace in the memories… 

Now on to my plea for help…  As you all know, Pass It On Cards is a new thing…  A great thing!  But still relatively unknown…  We need some help from anyone who likes Pass it On Cards…  I need all of you to help me with promoting our site – our cards – our blog – our facebook page or twitter…  Anything that any of you can do to help would be greatly appreciated…  The more people we get involved, the more fun Pass it On cards will become…  So please tell your family & friends – comment here or on our facebook page – share a link on your website or Anything you can do to help us spread the word.  We want to do some major marketing to help spread the word, but so far we are financing this entire thing on our household money & not enough money to put into a good marketing campaign – so help from our friends & family is extremely helpful & appreciated more then you can know!!!  In the last 3 months, our website received around 1000 unique visitors & many people returned several times…  But we want to see numbers like this on a daily basis – So anything you can do to help is appreciated Soooooooo much!!!

Time flies when your extremely busy…
Can’t believe we are 3 weeks into this contest already… We have been in the Phoenix and in the LA area in just a short time. FUN… Seems like people love this idea! We are meeting great people from everywhere…looking for a little sun I guess… We hope we have helped in that pursuit, We like to think kindness is like sunshine… or something like that… Keep on Passing on your Cards & don’t forget to tell people to register themselves and add themselves to the cards/website before passing along the cards…Thats where the fun is!!!!

Our Family went down South for an over night mini-cation…  Well, my husband got called to go to AZ (phoenix area) to handle an issue with the problems that had arisen from another area manager who had quit…  So we decided to increase our vacation to a working vacation…  :)  So now we are down here soaking up the 90-100 degree sunshine & loving it!  What a great time of year to visit Phoenix…

Anyway – on to my story…  We made sure to bring a ton of our cards with us because we love to hand them out like crazy!  After All – Thats what we do…  While we were at our Hotel in Saint George UT (Courtyard by Marriott), we were trying to use the computers in the lobby to set up our next hotel reservations.  There was a woman who worked there (I wish I would have gotten her name) – I hope she logs on, reads this & replies so I can give her the credit she deserves.  She was Sooooo Nice!  Our kids were being maniacs – nothing unusual for them, but she offered to take them for some free breakfast so that we could do what we needed to do.  She got them lots of food, sat them at a table & kept a close eye on them while she continued to help others.  Leaving us to concentrate on what we needed to accomplish!!!  She is such a sweet woman…  :)  Then….    On our way down here to AZ we happened to stop in Las Vegas (or an outlying town) & get some Lunch…  We stopped at Rubios – I will post the address once David gets back (he has the business card) – The manager was AMAZING! He was so nice to us…  From the first greeting when we were walking into the door, to explaining everything to us on the menu to make sure we got the best food for our tastes; to saving us money by not letting us buy two extra sides when the others were enough food for the kids & then to top it off, he even gave our kids a free side of rice because they didn’t want the beans…  He was Fantastic!  His entire personality just brightened up the building…  Turning a quick lunch stop into a wonderful & memorable experience!  So once I add his name & the exact location – I suggest that EVERYONE who lives close enough (or ever visits) should go & say hello, grab some super yummy food & experience true kindness & blow you away customer service!

These are just two of the great experiences we have had just yesterday alone, with experiencing random acts of kindness!  It doesn’t need to be anything big to make a BIG difference in someones day!

Pay It ForwardWe Love This MOVIE!!!  Although the movie wasn’t the inspiration for Pass It On Cards, it follows the same path of person helping person – only on a small scale…  Yes you can change the world with Small Random Acts of Kindness…  We can & we will!!!  The Pass It On Cards Movement has started & there is no stopping it!

It’s amazing how good it makes people feel to receive & to give these cards out! We are hearing heartwarming story after story & just knowing that each card is giving kindness & spreading smiles over & over again- Its just so great!!!

We always have one with us… Yes we own the business and we love them, but others do too. We find almost everyone we see likes our cards, and needs a little lift everyday. The guy the other day at the deli asked if I work for the company that prints these cards..I said in a way I do…slave labor for my wife, who owns the company. He loved his card and passed it on. I ask if he registered it online and he hadn’t. I told him if he did he could follow where it went after him… Thought it was cool said he would next time.. People love getting these “Pass it On Cards”.  I always need to remember to tell a bit about them and how they work… A new thing needs a story, so tell it and make sure people you pass it to do to…as Bruce Springsteen said…”Thats where the fun is”

Hi Everyone…

Just a quick note to let you all know that unfortunately we have been a bit distracted this last week.  First a trip to San Diego that was cut very short (we basically drove down there – spent a couple hours at the beach & then turned around & drove home again).  I think we need a do-over vacation.  It was great though that we were able to hand out some cards along the way.  Some of which have already been added to the tracking system….  Way to go!!!

Also we had a hard lesson this week in how dishonest people can be.  We were taken advantage of by a company that we fully trusted.  I can’t go into details because this website & blog is all about kindness & treating people well.  So even though I want to scream it to the world & tell everyone who they are & what they did, I will behave & not post it here.  It has been a big distraction and for that we are sorry…

BUT – we are all about being nice, paying it forward and all that good stuff – so seeing things like this situation just really get us even more excited about what we are doing…

We are thrilled to hear so many fun stories about the cards and the random acts of kindness going on…  SO PLEASE SHARE!!!  We want this blog to be a fun exciting place to be uplifted…  So please take a minute to share your story or whatever…  The blog is just getting started, so please help us get it moving & really interactive…

Yesterday was so cool @ The David County Conf. Center
We had the best Booth in the craft fair at the “Oh So Sweets Boutique”
It was at the front door we met everyone (I think.)
Everyone was so nice… it always helps when your product Rocks!!!
I did the math… over 97% Liked Pass it On Cards…
No Joke!!!
You can’t go wrong with “Random Acts of Kindness” and a product that sells itself…
